Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management
After leaving school in Warrington Jenny went straight into employment as a trainee with RBS. This began a classic climb up the employment ladder, learning various roles until qualifying as a Financial Adviser. Her career with RBS spanned ten years, until a move to the Vernon Building Society as an FA and then six years later joining Bright as a Technical Planner in 2006. Jenny says, “I felt that the time was right to consolidate all of the financial knowledge which I had gained over more than sixteen years into building information for Bright advisers, rather than being an adviser myself.”
Jenny gained Chartered status in 2016 and was promoted to Technical Manager. She forms part of the vital technical planning team at Bright, providing in-depth knowledge of all of the financial markets, along with implementing the effects of legislative and strategic changes.
Other than young daughter Ruby to occupy her time, Jenny is a keen motorcycle racing fan…watching, not riding…with particular interest in the Isle of Man TT races. “Mark and I,” she says, “Spent our earlier years together with me travelling around to watch him ride in races at circuits such as Oulton Park and Darley.”
